If you are already driving or considering investing in a 2015 Honda HR-V, what you can do with the HR-V and how it can be customised to suit your needs is well worth giving a little time to explore. Hence, here are just five accessories available to prove the Honda HR-V is a practical option in 2016.
Side Body Trims
One feature made available for the Honda HR-V that every owner would be wise to at least consider investing in has got to be side body trims. Whilst side body trims tend to divide drivers from an aesthetic stand point, there is no denying that side body trims can dramatically reduce the chance of having to fork out to have scrapes, dints and scratches fixed considerably reduced.
Side body trims involve having a soft impact resistant strip affixed to the doors and sides of a car and safeguard your car doors when being opened in tight spaces (such as car parks) or having another car owner open their doors into your vehicle.
Here at Cox Motor Parts we advise that anybody driving a HR-V or who might be considering investing in one and would too like to affix a bicycle attachment does so by investing in a genuine Honda HR V 5 bicycle attachment as making sure to get the correct bicycle attachment for your car and the model you are driving is important for numerous reasons.
Firstly, affixing an appropriate bicycle attachment which means one that is made especially for the vehicle you drive ensures the attachment is the best fit for your car. Secondly, investing in a genuine Honda bicycle attachment ensures the quality of the attachment you buy. Finally, the Honda HR-V 2015 bicycle attachment has been specially designed as an ‘easy fit’ option, saving you time and effort when affixing it safely to your car.
Base Carrier (Roof Rack)
For those who require extra space or plan to travel longer distances and so require additional room for their belongings, affixing your Honda HR-V with a base carrier (a.k.a a roof rack) is a good idea, relatively inexpensive and can additionally free up space within your car and prevent your car from becoming cluttered.
An estimated 9 million people in the UK are dog owners, meaning that millions of those looking for a new car will decide and make their final choice with their pets in mind. If this is true of you, you will no doubt be happy to learn that the Honda HR-V model can be easily and inexpensively customised to meet your (and your dog’s) needs.
In fact, dog proofing your Honda HR-V to permit your dogs to travel in the boot of your car is not just simple, but advisable to maintain the safety of you, your passengers and your dogs. Further, the dog guard can also prove an ideal means of keeping luggage safe whilst in the boot of your HR-V and need not be removed when your dogs aren’t travelling with you.
To do this, dog owners require a reliable and well fitting dog guard. Again, for the best fit and product, we advise to stick with genuine Honda products and as such opt to purchase the Honda HR-V Dog Guard 2015 model.
Door Mirror Covers
Finally, number five on our list of add-ons worth taking a look at if you own or are thinking or purchasing a Honda HR-V model is one that, unlike our other top picks, is less about practicality and more about personality – and maintaining the looks of your Honda HR-V.
Hence, if you have been unfortunate enough to get or have had your door mirrors scuffed, scratched or clipped door covers can instantly restore the aesthetic appeal of your vehicle without having to pay out for entirely new door mirrors or drive around with tatty looking door mirrors.

Honda’s new SUV, the HR-V has recently been awarded the ‘New Car of the Year’ award at the AM Awards.
The award is even more impressive considering it is voted for by AM’s dealer audience in an online vote.
The vehicle was first shown off at the Paris Motor Show in October 2014 as an attempt by the manufacturer to break into the increasingly popular small SUV market.
The current HR-V is a rebooted version of the original model which was produced between 1999 and 2006.
The HR-V went on sale in the summer of 2015 and is notable for utilising a centre fuel tank location to maximise space in the car’s interior.
The vehicle also has a unique exterior based on a coupé with sharp, dynamic lines.
Stephen Briers, Editor in Chief at AM magazine, commented: “It was an important launch for the brand in 2015 and took Honda back into a rapidly growing market segment.
“Now AM readers have voted the HR-V a winner, thanks to its coupé-like looks, impressive practicability, efficient engines and keen pricing.
“Although supply is constrained, this car will do wonders for its dealers and is attracting new customers out of other brands.”
Phillip Crossman, Managing Director of Honda UK, added: “This is a fantastic accolade for the new HR-V to pick up and just shows how popular the car is proving with both dealers and customers alike.
“Sixteen years after the original HR-V launched and our return to the crossover segment, which we pioneered with the first generation HR-V, has been massively successful with overwhelming demand across our retail network.”

To celebrate the arrival of Honda’s brand new HR-V this month, here at Cox Motor Group we are hosting a test drive weekend on the 19th-20th September across all four of our Honda dealerships.
This exciting new HR-V was voted by What Car? readers as the most anticipated car of 2015,so why not come along and see what all the fuss is about?
The HR-V comes with ample passenger and boot space, perfect for families, and offers more than others on the SUV Coupe market, such as the Nissan Qashqai or ford Kuga. It benefits further with Honda’s versatile ‘magic seats’ set up which allows the HR-V to restructure its back seats to carry objects often too tall or bulky for most other cars.
The base-grade S model, which you can pick up for as little as £17,995, is well equipped with climate control, cruise control and dusk-sensing automatic headlamps fitted as standard.
Additional Premium models such as the SE and EX offer plenty more gadgets including Honda’s exciting new Honda Connect infotainment system, front and rear parking sensors, rain sensing wipers and a six-speaker audio upgrade, all features that will make for a supremely comfortable ride.
The HR-V is available in both petrol and diesel models and prices start as little as £17,995.
Fancy taking one of the brand new models for a test drive? Cox Motor Group are offering you the opportunity to do so during our Test Drive Weekend at our dealerships on the 19th and 20th September.
With the brand new Honda HR-V set for launch later this year, the team over at Honda have been busy working on a brand new online ad which, if we do say so ourselves, is nothing short of fantastic! Of course, focussing efforts upon a digital ad showcases the strength and importance of ‘online’ as a marketing channel and allows the brand to be a little more creative than through other more traditional advertising channels.
Why not take a moment to watch the ad for yourself:
The ad has been created to portray the fact that the brand new Honda HR-V offers a vehicle where “everything perfectly in its place” and in order to do that, the storyboard for the ad see’s a man carefully tidying his garage, as an example by crafting neat little wooden drawers.
Claire Dunford, the European social media manager at Honda Motor Europe, gave comment to Campaign on the ad, stating: “The HR-V offers the perfect combination of style and practicality. “This campaign really brings to life the car’s cleverly-designed space – we’re confident it will engage our target audiences and encourage them to sign-up for more information ahead of the launch later in 2015.”
Here at Cox Motor Parts, we can’t wait to test drive one of the new HR-V’s! Can you?
