Performance
The force required to drive all of the ancillary components is high and a great deal of force is
required to turn them , This means the auxiliary belt needs to be of a high quantity to be able
to withstand these forces and for long periods of time. Also the auxiliary belt is subject to
the elements this is due to the belt being fitted on the outside of the engine. Therefore the
belt needs be able to withstand these conditions. Honda Parts are durability tested and will
have exceeded the expected requirements during the intensive testing.

Facts
The auxiliary drive belts on Honda vehicles are adjusted automatically by the self adjusting
tensioner. This along with the high quantity of the genuine Honda auxiliary belts means there
is no need for adjustment and also a very long service life should be expected
