Castrol have developed EDGE TITANIUM 5w-30 LL in co-operation with the VW Group but Edge 5w-30 meets a wide range of manufacturer specs including the latest Mercedes oil specs. Castrol EDGE TITANIUM 5w-30 LL sets new standards in the industry in regards to cleanliness of the engine, thereby reducing harmful emissions and subsequent damage to the environment. The technology in this oil also reduces long term blocking thereby prolonging the life of diesel particulate filter. Castrol EDGE TITANIUM 5w-30 LL is equally suitable for petrol and diesel vehicles where performance specifications VW504 00 and VW507 00 are demanded. Plus Castrol has managed to meet the requirements of most previous VW oil specifications making it suitable for new and older engines. Use in place of Castrol Formula SLX LongLife II (now discontinued). Castrol EDGE TITANIUM 5w-30 LL fully synthetic engine oil can be used instead of Castrol edge professional 5W-30, products that are mainly only available from main dealerships and are generally a lot more expensive with similar / same specifications.
